Tim Berners-Lee [1]<\/a><\/sup> so famously said about the web: \u201cThis is for everyone.\u201d<\/strong>[2]<\/a><\/sup> I full-heartedly agree with him and the philosophy of the #oneweb<\/strong> [3]<\/a><\/sup>. I believe that the internet with its vast content is for everyone. This means that websites need to be accessible: accessible inclusively to all people, accessible in turn to their chosen devices and accessible on connections of varying speeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only inclusive design is good design<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the core aspects which makes designing for the web such exciting work is the ability make content available to all, to reach the few and the many. The very nature of our medium is intrinsically accessible and in my view, only design which delivers on this promise can be considered successful. Accessibility is not a tick-box, inclusion is a way of thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I designed and built this blog, as all my web projects, to be easy to use by everyone, whatever your needs. I have thoroughly tested this site and aim to meet the WCAG 2.2[4]<\/a><\/sup> as outlined by the standards body of the W3C[5]<\/a><\/sup>. I hope you will not have any problems perusing our content.
